Kuler Inspiration

Needing a tool to quickly find a color inspiration, I stumbled upon kuler.com (pronounced cooler) from Adobe. The tool has a large collection of color themes that you can contribute to and edit others themes on the fly. The Flash based UI is easy to navigate and provides plenty of options such as:
- Upload an image and use selectors to target specific colors within the image
- Use a color wheel that dynamically changes your selections
- Enter individual color values for HSV, RGB, CMYK, LAB and even a HEX code
Another great feature is the extension or Photoshop CS4. Once you’ve created an account (use your current Adobe login) you can export your themes from Photoshop to the kuler website. The panel allows you to browse themes from the site and add themes to your swatch library.
